Reporting to the Sr. Director, IT Infrastructure -amp; Cyber Security, the Director, Cyber Security is a key leadership position for Atkore-rsquo;s Cyber Security program. The person in this role will be responsible for the overall Cyber Security roadmap as well as our technical controls, policy, governance and training programs.What You-rsquo;ll Do:
Lead and evolve our Cyber Security roadmap to ensure our priorities address the changing landscape of security threats and vulnerabilities.Develop proposals for future investments in hardware, software and services with well-aligned and compelling business cases.Identify and close Atkore information security controls and policy gaps as they relate to the CIS framework.Institutionalize information security policies and develop compliance metrics across the organization.Drive our Cyber Safety program including the development and execution of regular training campaigns, safety drills, and the associated communications and reporting.Lead the selection, implementation and on-going oversight for all security-related service providers that fall within the Cyber Security program.Lead the development and adoption of security standards and drive vendor, service and device risk assessments.Lead the risk assessment process for new acquisitions.Lead the deployment of Cyber Security programs, technologies and services.Oversee the investigation of security incidents and author formal incident reports to executive leadership.What You Bring:
A Bachelor-rsquo;s Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems Security, Cyber Security, or a related field.7 to 10 years of experience in an Information Security leadership role with senior leadership experience.Proficiency with common information security frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISO27001, CIS and COBIT.One or more of the following certifications:
CISSP, CISM, CRISC or GSLC.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.Experience developing and delivering presentations to all levels of an organization.Within 3 Months, You-rsquo;ll:
Complete your new hire -ldquo;Immersion-rdquo; so that you are ready to rock in your new role.Have developed relationships with the key stakeholders for this role.Have gained a good understanding of Atkore-rsquo;s existing Cyber Security program.Be introduced to Atkore-rsquo;s key security partners and outsourced services.Within 6 Months, You-rsquo;ll:
Have a complete and detailed understanding of Atkore-rsquo;s Cyber Security systems, policies, procedures, and partners.Have begun identifying opportunities for improvement and developing action plans to address weaknesses.Have assumed the role of a coach and educator to anyone that may need extra help identifying and avoiding cyber threats.Have assumed full responsibility for driving Atkore-rsquo;s Cyber Safety program.Within 12 Months, You-rsquo;ll:
Have assumed responsibility for Atkore-rsquo;s Cyber Security roadmap.Have developed short, medium and long-term action plans for advancing the organization-rsquo;s security controls, policies and procedures.Have made an impact in the organization that measurably improves the overall maturity and effectiveness of the Cyber Security function.Have earned the respect of your peers and established yourself as a leader in the organization and respected security professional.Atkore is committed to creating an engaged and aligned workforce that drives collaborative culture. Salary Range:
$250K -- $500K+
