WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.
; and refers to more complex questions to the Human Resources Manager.
Maintains utmost integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
Provides clerical support to the HR department by maintaining and tracking employee data, updating the employee directory, and ensuring benefits are selected on time.
Takes part in the recruitment process by tracking top candidates, and grading VAQ tests.
May act as a liaison between the organization and external benefits providers and vendors, which may include health, disability, and retirement plan providers.
Conducts or assists with pre-boarding and new hire orientation.
Assists with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, employee picnics, holiday parties, and retirement celebrations.
WHOM WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
Job Competencies Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy, and most importantly without judgment or bias.
Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines as necessary.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn human resource information systems (HRIS), and similar computer applications.
Education, Experience, Credentials Bachelor's Degree in human resources or another relevant field preferred.
1 year of experience as an HR Assistant preferred (or similar relevant internships) Valid driver's license required.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
