Technical Training Manager

POSITION SUMMARY/PURPOSE: By collaborating with business unit management, the Technical Training Manager executes a learning strategy for the business unit. This includes assessment of existing programs, and analysis of gaps. This is a high impact role requiring a strong, decisive, results-oriented leader who can develop, coach, and manage relationships across the business unit and with a wide variety of partners based on trust, teamwork, and knowledge. Responsible for all aspects of planning, leading, organizing, and revenue generation for the training department including the development and delivery of customer and employee technical learning programs, technical manual creation and translation, graphical illustrations and internal corporate communication media ensuring alignment with Provisur'sPrincipals and Values.   POSITION ACCOUNTABILITY: Design and manage implementation of customer technical training programs including training products, sales and promotion strategies, tools and systems that grow annual customer training revenue and profits for the Formax, Weiler, and TST brands. Design and manage implementation of internal technical training programs and certifications for the Formax, Weiler, and TST brands to support Electromechanical Technicians (EMT) skill development for grade advancement. Manage technical publications including manuals (creation, editing, and translation), corporate communications from officers, application filming and file storage ensuring accurate and timely completion, delivery, and revision control. Manage the training department staff including maintaining proper staffing levels, planning and coordinating work, training and motivating employees, evaluating performance, and coaching as needed. Oversee all aspects of technical training classes including scheduling, trainer assignment, material and location preparation, course syllabus, communication, logistics, and billing. Research and direct the updating of existing training with new technologies including e-learning, video, VR and new presentation techniques setting the industry standard for training programs. Benchmark competitive and allied industry training programs, products, pricing, and methodologies to ensure Provisur remains a leader in technical training and learning programs. As a manager in the organization, it is your responsibility to oversee and direct the work of assigned staff and balance the work load appropriately; accomplish your own work in an organized, timely manner and effectively manage approved budgets; take responsibility for the training, development and evaluation of assigned staff; and, ensure smooth teamwork with other departments.  Additionally, it is your responsibility to ensure high quality standards are established and maintained; recommend continuous improvement ideas and work with management on developing implementation plans; take personal responsibility for service excellence, sustainability and safe working practices; and, understand and ensure compliance with our Principles & Values and all company policies and procedures.   JOB KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Implementation experience as a lead, supervisor/manager in a training and/or technical environment in both presenting and developing, must understand and use good instructional curriculum design. Possess strong leadership, customer focused, well developed interpersonal skills, effective decision making, a high level of integrity, and the ability to communicate effectively in written and oral communication, including excellent training, facilitation and internal/external consulting skills. Strong project management skills and proven track record of meeting deadlines on time and on budget. Ability to prioritize competing priorities in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment with minimal oversight. Possess a strong technical background with emphasis on mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical/electronic and servo technology. Requires the knowledge and ability to operate various computer software programs and applications including Microsoft Office products with advanced Visio and PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, eLearning software and authoring tools. Experience implementing and using collaborative tools including video editing/authoring, animation/cloud based animation such as Goanimate/Vyond. Demonstrated ability in writing technical or operational documents.  Must be willing and have the ability to travel within the US & Canada and occasionally internationally. PROFESSIONAL WORK EXPERIENCE: Minimum of five (5) years progressive experience in organizational management, program development, and/or technical training with an emphasis in capital equipment, as well as three (3) years of managerial or supervisory experience leading a technical training department. Experience with implementation of Learning Management Systems. Experience with Instructional Design. Experience with content management and implementation of Learning Management Systems. Experience with augmented and/or virtual reality training development. EDUCATIONAL AND/OR TRAINING REQUIREMENT: Bachelor's degree in Education or Instructional Design, Business, Engineering, or a related field is required. Master's degree or post-graduate course work is a plus. CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENT: Certification in instructional design a plus.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
